It's that time again...time for the annual info about what I'm teaching this year at Bead and Button! And I have to say how exciting it is to me that it has become an annual event. I love attending this show, and teaching there just makes me feel like a real professional. Being amongst all those talented, creative artists is inspirational and rejuvenating. This show truly is the creative highlight of my year. If you have never gone you really should try it. Now on to the classes:
I will be teaching 2 classes on Saturday, June 9.
Class #1 is Playing with Paper, which will explore various applications of Art Clay Paper type. This is one of my absolute favorite mediums to use for it's versatility. In this all day class students will get to create several pieces using different paper techniques including appliqué, quilling, and origami.

Class #2 is Precious Posts. In this class students will learn how to embed fine silver wire into pre-fired pieces to make post earrings. Post earrings are hugely popular right now, so it's helpful to know how to incorporate this trend into your design.
